Service Offered: 2. AVAILING OF IMMUNIZATION SERVICES

About the service:

Service is intended to benefit pregnant and infant for immunization for them to be free from vaccine preventable disease and sickness. Immunization shall be conducted per schedule until the whole course of the regimen is completed.

About the services:

The clinical laboratory is an auxiliary procedure to aid clinicians in the diagnosis and treatment of the disease. The laboratory service includes complete blood count, stool examination, urinalysis, and sputum exam diagnostics w/ the available section in the laboratory like clinical chemistry such as fasting blood sugar (FBS).

About the Service:

Medico-legal services are components of health department given to clients seeking legal proceeding and other related needs. This includes Violence against Women & Children (VAWC) related cases, physical injuries and post-mortem examination.

Maternal & Child Health Care services are one of the priority program of the DOH under the Millennium Development Goal (MDG) that focuses on the mother & new born care.

About the service:

This kind of service will address the environmental sanitation of the community. It establishes and takes charge of various programs in eliminating and controlling filth related diseases. Major programs may include the following: water and sanitation; food sanitation; insect and rodent control; abatement of nuisance public places sanitation; promotion of sanitary facilities like provision of sanitary toilet, provision and proper solid waste management; enforcement of health and sanitation laws, policies and guidelines.

Service offered: 8. AVAILING OF PRE-MARRIAGE COUNSELING & FAMILY PLANNING

 

About the service:

Pre- marriage counselling & family planning is one of the services offered to all men & women prior to their marriage. A short briefing and orientation seminar will be conducted to engaged man/woman and couple (husband & wife) to let them know the process of upbringing a healthy family. An orientation seminar that focus on responsible parenthood and how to handle the challenges of having their own family and resources.
